EFFECT OF FOLIAR APPLICATION WITH FORCHLORFENURON AND GIBBERELLIC ACID IN VEGETATIVE GROWTH AND CHEMICAL CONTENT OF WASHINGTON NAVEL ORANGE TRANSPLANTS

This study was conducted in the lath house of Horticulture and Landscape Gardening Department, College Agriculture , University Anbar for period from April to December 2021, effect foliar spraying with growth regulators Forchlorfenuron Gibberellic acid vegetative chemical content two years old Washington navel orange transplants budded on rough lemon rootstock, experiment included application forchlorfenuron at four concentrations: 0, 4, 8 12 mg L-1 which symbolized F0, F1, F2 F3 respectively as well three levels GA3: 25 50 G0, G1 G2 respectively. A factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) replicates each treatment, results can be summarized follows: factors affected significantly all studied traits especially treatment concentration GA3 a where achieved highest significant increase secondary shoots' number, number leaves increment, area, dry weight parts, shoots total carbohydrates, nitrogen chlorophyll gave values reached 5.94, 4.79 shoot sapling-1 95.83, 80.62 leaf sapling-1, 34.12, 30.68 dm2 87.62, 74.79 g 9.12, 9.00% 2.51, 2.50% 1.44, 1.40 mg.g-1 fresh both factors, while control recorded lowest these traits.
